chair chan. supervisor melgar, thank you so much, chair chan, i just wanted to make a couple remarks, i know the hour is late, and, folks are tired, i think that, there are very few things that are more important than our kids, so i represent district seven, it's a little more suburban. suburban, a little farther out, but it's full of kids, and what we saw after the pandemic, is a lot of need, a lot of social, emotional needs, a lot of kids who are coming out of a couple of years being, in zoom school, we're having mental health issues. we quantifiably have that evidence. so to me, you know, slashing youth leadership programs, more importantly, youth employment programs makes no sense. we just did so much work to try to get violence under control at stonestown shopping mall and other places where kids were congregating and engaging in behavior. that's not conducive to success. so, seeing the youth leadership programs being cut from my district is really like it hurts. and so, i will fight for tha
