with me now is nbc news legal analyst charles coleman junior., former brooklyn new york prosecutor, and host of the charles coleman podcast. charles, thank you for joining me. again, it remains to be seen whether or not the supreme court will take up this immunity case. would it be helpful for the court to weigh in on this once and for all? >> secretary castro, i don't necessarily know that we are going to get that far. despite jacks mitt's request, i think ultimately the supreme court may end up leaning on the notion that whatever trump did as far as what he is accused of in these cases is outside of the realm of what he did as president. meaning that he was not acting in his official capacity as president. the significance of that is if they lean to that as opposed to the actual immunity question itself, they punt that second question down the road. it kind of leaves the issue unresolved. i don't necessarily see them delving into the question of immunity directly if they don't have to. i expect that we will likely see them lean into the notion
