charles: president biden set to lay out his 2 trillion-dollar plus spending plan in afternoon in pittsburgh. the high price tag, focus on clean energy rather than infrastructure many calling this the greenllary vaughn in pittsburgh ahead of the president's arrival, she joins me now. hillary. reporter: hi, charles, that is because republicans are concerned that only 25% of this $2.25 trillion spending package is actually being spent on infrastructure. repairing things like roads and bridges and everything else is for other things like clean and green energy initiatives. the 2.25 trillion is going to 625 billion on transportation infrastructure, to rebuild roads, bridges, highways and ports but 400 billion of that will be spent on home care for elderly and the disabled, 580 billion will be spent on research and development, manufacturing and training, including 180 billion on clean energy initiatives. and also 650 billion on electric grid improvements, water system advancements and broadband access but president biden says the trillions of dollars in spending will create millions of union jobs. but some union workers are worried that green and clean energy emphasis they could be out of a
