murphy. jen psaki. alex castellanos. christopher ruddy. and charles blow. the plea deal hit friday.s program. what is your read? >> several things are baffling about this. anybody knows when you two to be up vest gate bid the fbi. the first thing they tell you is if you lie in the interview, now we have twoed a mini -- people connected with the administration w done just that. i think dan was correct. there's plenty of evidence to show there was contacts. out reach after the victory with russian officials. but the issue here is not going to be a logan act prosecution. not looking at that. it will be on an obstruction case. that is the issue i think they'll be dialling in on is, after these contacts were revealed, what was done? what panic in certain level of the administration led them to lie or be disingenuous? >> it seems like, chris ruddy, so much is focused on the early days of the administration. a new administration coming in. on the same day, you have george. a dap louse saying he lied to the fbi, the president called in the director of the fbi and says, how about some loyalt

charles dickens' a christmas carol. joining us to tell us more about that, tony award winning producer and director alexander fraser and the playhouse's education director michaela murphy, nationally renowned storyteller, actress and teacher. welcome to you both. >> thank you. >> thrilled to be here. >> let's start with you, audiences know the story of a christmas carol. how is this different and any surprises for audiences? >> we wanted to take this great story and do something a little different with it. so we set it in new hope. and it is absolutely the christmas carol that you know and love, but with a lot of local color thrown in and the whole thing ends with a big christmas show that ebenezer scrooge produces as his gift back to the community. and so they get to sing and dance, but it really is a christmas carol. and an extraordinary tale and i had forgotten a lot about it. but watching it and it has five actors. five great actors from new york, don stevenson plays ebenezer scrooge, he was in the producers on broadway and had a great career. and he's terrific. >> talk a little bit more about how it is customized to the new hope area. that is fascinating. >> it is
