charles county circuit judge, judge robert nalley, admits he deflated the tire of a car parked near the courthouse. he received a traffic citation today for tampering with a motor vehicle. nalley says the car was repeatedly parked in a restricted space. last week he resigned from his position as chief administrative judge. nalley still serves as an associate judge in charles county circuit court. a montgomery county police officer has been indicted accused of giving false testimony against a dui suspect. it stems from this incident back in may 2008 captured on surveillance video. a man was arrested and charged with dui in gaithersburg. last april the officer told the court that the driver was behind the wheel when she arrived on the scene. the video shows the driver was actually lying in the car's back seat when officer ffman got there. hoffman is indicted on one count each of perjury and misconduct in office which could bring up to a ten years in prison. >>> the police in d.c. arrest ad guy today who was involved in a police chase and a carjacking. just after 11:00 this morning, office

a charles county judge who admitted to deflating a tire on a car parked near a courthouse has resigned as chief administrator of the circuit court. judge robert nalley said he was sick of people parking in his spot at work so, he says he deflated a tire to get his point across. lindsey mastis has the story. >> really upset. i was almost in tears. >> reporter: jean washington says because of construction, she had been parking along this street for a few weeks. but when she parked there monday -- >> one of the security guards said to me, jean, someone from holding called over and said judge nalley flattened your tire. >> reporter: washington has worked at the courthouse nearly 13 years. she thought the restricted parking signs were meant for visitors. they are not. those who park here have a permit. >> the only warning that i got was that my tire was flattened. >> reporter: judge robert nalley has not apologized, and he wouldn't go on camera, but he talked with me before walking to his vehicle. he said when other cars are parked in his spot, he left notes, but decided against it this time. he said, quote, notes are not terribly effective, letti
