want to go to adam shapiro at the new york stock exchange. >> reporter: hey, charles. to be friday when we get the employment numbers, but adp actually having a beat here. you know, the street was expecting we would have roughly 185,000 jobs added, but it actually came in, according to adp, at 219,000 jobs for the last month. so that would be a gain that was better than analysts were expecting. big gains in businesses that have between 50 and 499 employees and then, of course, the biggest number as far as sector was service sector, 177,000 gains. one thing that you hear people in the labor department lock up complain about is that the adp number so often does not mimic what we get in the labor department, but it's expected the number will be good on friday when we get the official unemployment report. also when you take into consideration gdp is 4.1%, that's pushing wages up. that's a big number we're going to be looking at, pressure on employers to offer more money. and we see that happening. the last report it was year-over-year a growth of 2.7%. so we'll want to wat
