longtime charleston mayor joe riley is saying farewell. the mayor, who has served charleston longer that anyone in the city's 345-year history, is giving a short farewell address tonight. riley is completing 40 years in office. he will give a message of appreciation to residents that will be streamed live. riley is credited with leading charleston through an urban renewal that's made the city one of the most popular tourist destinations in the world. riley was also the face of the city after hurricane hugo more than 25 years ago and more recently following the charleston church shooting. >>> rochelle: bill clinton is back on the presidential he's out on his first solo campaign events with stops planned in new hampshire, a key primary state when it comes to vote 2016. clinton's competetion on the other side of the political fence donald trump has already commented on the campaign move putting bill clinton's past scandal front and center. but the clinton campaign says they consider him a huge asset with high approval ratings and a long histo

shifting gears now, we have an update on the charleston church shooting. about 600 charleston area residents will be summoned to court as potential jurors for dylann roof's death penalty trial. >> that trial coming up around the corner now. roof is accused in the deadly shooting at emanuel a.m.e. church. circuit court judge nicholson laid out the pool, a computer will randomly pick the participants. tracking the homelessness in south carolina, that's the goal of volunteers who spread out across the state to talley up here in our community. >> annual survey conducted by the south carolina homeless
