let me turn now to our panel and, charlie cook, start with you.raised some questions here from the polls that's out there right now. i'm curious, you've seen your share of midterm elections. when you look at the climate right now, when you look at some of those different ballot numbers that you have out there, you look at this variable of kuf the polling has been a little spotty the last few election cycles, how do you look at this race a week out? >> the broader environment is bad for democrats, but there are some cross pressures because of the dobbs abortion issue. the other thing is, i think republicans -- unless this is a tsunami or something, i don't think it's going to be that, they're going to leave seats on the table because they nominated some exotic and potentially problematic people that if it's not an 80 miles per hour tail wind, they're going to lose some places that they would otherwise win. where they would be better off with placebos than who they ended up with. that's going to trim down a little bit. it's a not good environment fo
