i'm chief warrant officer charlie morgan. hampshire national guard and i'm finally proud to announce publicly that i'm a lesbian. >> charlie, congratulations. do you remember that september 20th. charlie morgan making history on this show in september on the day that don't ask don't tell was officiallily repealed. it may be history, but the fight for equality is far from over for lgbt military members. charlie morgan joined seven other current and former service members in a lawsuit against the u.s. government over the constitutionality of the defense of marriage act. now, the act prevents the u.s. military from row vieding medical and survivor benefits to service members, same sex partners. charlie described one of her worst fears at a news conference. take a listen. >> i'm a breast cancer survivor and was recently diagnosed with a recurrence. what i worry about most of all is that my health will take a turn for the worse and karen will not be eligible to receive the survivor benefits to which she is entitled to to help care

charles reinhard, deputy chief investment officer at morgan stanley. hi, charlie, nice to you have on the program. >> thank you, happy columbus day. >> susie: same to you. so tell me, what change. why the asset allocation switch now? >> well, we think in the last several weeks the risk and the uncertainty have gone up. and we wanted to be in harmony with what we saw could be a bumpier road ahead. and that's why we increased the waiting to save haven assets and we lowered the weighting to different riskier assets. >> susie: so let's talk about the safe haven. you are identifying them as things like cash, investment grade bonds, short-term debt instruments. but not gold. so tell us what your definition of a safe haven is these days. >> well, you named it. these are actually different investments that when we hit bumpy times having a higher exposure to them can make the bumps feel smaller than they otherwise might be. and we felt it was prudent to increase our exposure to items like you just ticked off. cash, high quality bonds and so forth. >> what about treasury--

morgan in a moment. >>> we all know that there is a good chance that charlie will be dead soon so i wrote an obituary., who became a tabloid fixture due to his problems with drugs and alcohol was found dead in his apartment. actually, you know what? i kind of copied amy winehouse's obituary. it's -- i only had to change three things, though. the sex of the deceased. the location of the body, and the talent that will be missed. >> that was "comedy central." by god, that was dark. even you were grim massing. does anybody shudder at your humor? >> at the roast, yes. at every roast a part of me says, don't do it. don't do it. but they are so oddly loose and freeing that it's like a comedy vacation in a way. >> which has been your favorite, because you've done a few now? >> this last one was pretty -- i mean, it was dark but it was definitely fun. i was more relaxed than anything. >> what do you make of charlie? >> you know, it's funny. i don't really know charlie that well. my personal reactions with him, if you took out any awareness of anything that i read in the press, my personal interaction has been
