a matter of four or five minutes from now, charlie sykes, one of the popular conservative radio hosts will be interviewing scott walkerovernor. at w tmj radio here in wisconsin. very, very influential guy. he interviewed trump yesterday. mr. sykes is anybody but trump candidate. he does not like the man. interviewed him yesterday. trump didn't know that. it was testy interview. just a matter of moments scott walker is expected to endorse ted cruz. that is a significant bounce for cruz. he wants to win this. it could be considered a turning point. this is a state winner take you will but quirky 18 delegates are awarded to winner statewide but remaining 24 delegates are divided up between the congressional districts. whoever wins the congressional districts gets three delegates per district. ted cruz is looking not only to win statewide but add to the total of congressional delegates and that takes organization. trump last night had demonstration here at hotel. there were some 60 protesters, and another dozen outside that were asked to leave after about an hour of chanting. this is professionally organized demonstration

charlie, i have a lot of respect for him. wisconsin is a battleground, as you know, when they talk about wisconsin is a little bit different. we had recall elections, governor walker had death threats. so many things are happening in wisconsin. that's where the revolution aside from what happened in massachusetts in my race, but what happened in wisconsin with governor walker in particular, started that anti-establishment movement. with regard to women, listen, i don't agree with everything that donald trump says or does, but there are different levels in my view as to spouses, kids in elections. if a spouse or a kid is going to step back and they're just married to the spouse or the son or daughter, that's different. but if a spouse is going to go out and play an active role, campaigning, unfortunately, the nature of the blood sport of politics is they'll be treated very similarly -- >> so that's one thing, and you're going to get into the political mix, but what about the picture tweeting out a picture saying she's unattractive? >> i'm hopeful that they'll all start to focus on the things we're seeing in brussels, seeing on a daily base which is our economy and

walker territory cruz is doing quite well. a lot of the wisconsin infrastructure which is better organized and more mobilized than almost any other state we've seen, we're seeing those folks align behind cruz. charlie sikes who's perhaps the most influential conservative radio host in wisconsin a big cruz booster. the stars are lining in cruz's favor. he's slashed trump's lead over the past few weeks. but now of course all of the sudden trump seems to at least be enjoying the sex scandal story because it undercuts cruz's basic appeal which is cruz can say i'm a good guy, i'm like you, i share your faith, i share your values. if this story is true and if the doubt is effectively introduced it gets tougher for him. >> i've got to say this is a theme now, which is you have someone who acts in such sort of anti-social ways i guess is the politest way i can describe trump's behavior. monstrously would be the uncharitable way to describe the behavior sometimes. you have someone who acts that way towards people. it makes them sort of sympathetic. you lose sight of the fact that ted cruz from a political perspective would be if he were the nominee so off the charts in terms of how extreme he is. i think ve

fact, charlie's radio show is being broadcast to a cruz rally that's about to take place in wisconsin. i'll ask you again, even though i know the answer. did donald trump in any way want scott walker's think you always want any endorsement you can get, but i think voters can see through this. i think when scott walker just talked about common sense conservativi conservativism, he made the case for donald trump. that means recognizing conservative shortcomings and recognizing when free trade deals which is a conservative principle hurts the american worker and makes them lose jobs. recognizing when foreign policy costs our men and women abroad their lives this. and you have to ask why did they die abroad when isis is taking over. maybe that wasn't the best move. i think common sense conservatism is what donald trump stands for, not cruz. cruz is litmus test conservative. the only people welcome are far right voters. that's what he represents. i think the case he made was for donald trump. >> there are many conservative leaders in wisconsin who do not agree that trump is common sense conservative at all. that's the difference. >> all right. i got to leave it there. we're keeping an ey
