hi, cheryl and dan. yes. for those with asthma and respiratory problems it's been a tough winter. we've seen ten spare the air days and officials tell us we're on pace to see many more. now that unhealthy air we're talking about is easy to see over the bay area, that thick, gray layer of pollution sometimes seems not to be moving. levels were bad last weekend and air quality officials say we can be in store for the same situation this weekend. the problem is a lack of wind and rain to blow it out of the area. second issue is wood smoke. air quality say that smoke contains harmful toxin that's continue to build day by day. they say they're finding people still burning their fireplaces. and karen's son felt impact with their asthma and say it's the worst in years, this winter and it's not likely to improve at least not this winter and this is because of the air. >> we kind of just get a cap, a layer that caps the layer. that is what has made air quality unhealthy for us for four weeks. >> and today was not a no burn day but it was recommended people not burn in fireplaces and offici
