rich: we'll go to cheryl casone. we have ibm now. cheryl. >> we do, guys. we're getting ibm numbers. the stock actually trending downward just about 1% right now. looking at the bid ask. ibm revenue coming in at 22.5 billion. so we did see a miss on revenue for ibm. as far as earnings per share, that actually was on par with the estimates, 254 a share for ibm. quarter and services, there was a backlog of 138 billion there, up 1%. they are reporting some currency adjustments. we saw that in the last quarter as well. some currency fluctuations an issue. by the way first quarter americas revenue, 9.6 billion and adjusted earnings per share again coming in at $2.54. that was on par but parsing through ibm's numbers and the stock is under just a little bit of pressure as you can see guys on your screen. ibm, liz, you know this very well, it is all about the cloud computing and they have been really trying to catch up with cloud computing that's something i will kind of look through it, the press release and come back to you. liz: they have been shedding their ha

cheryl casone is here to explain all of that. >> good morning.ut here is the problem, it is amazing to me that 6% of mothers in 2012 said they're staying home not because they want to, they want to go back to work, they can't find a job. what's happening -- and we talked about this in the past -- is that the cost of childcare completely negates going back to work. why would i leave the house if i'm going to lose money? it's going to be a net negative for me to go out and find work. so it's not that they're not motivated to find work. it's just the economics of this don't make sense. it's a real shame. >> it sure is. but you are offering some solutions where you can have both, make some money at home for moms. you have three companies today? >> yeah. there are some companies now that you can work from home. you do have to kind of report to work. but you can sometimes choose the hours that you want to work. a lot of the call center jobs. there is a company called a rise virtual solutions that i've talked about them before. it's customer care, thing

let's bring in cheryl casone from the fox business network. cheryl?ght want to think about becoming vegetarian after i showed what you is happening with beef and pork prices in particular. take a look at percentage jumps we've seen over the last year. first take a look at beef. retail beef prices up 7%. retail pork prices up 5.3%. and then eggs, even eggs we're seeing big you jump at grocery store up 7.1%. we're up national average up $2 for a dozen eggs. that is actually pretty high. here is what is happening. we had a huge drought two years ago, particularly out west. that hurt the herds. there is lot less beef out there for processing. the pork prices go, that was because of a virus. we talked about that. if you're looking at what you're seeing before the grocery store. this is the last stop where the stores did not want to raise prices on consumers. they were trying to fight this. now we're seeing grocery store prices jumping. let me give you couple examples here. one shopper in california, went to a costco. she bought two steaks. $38 for two stea

fox business network's cheryl casone is here with more. i'm not looking to sue general mills. there's anyone out there with that intention. but what does this do if you had a problem down the line? >> reporter: frankly a lot of people are out to sue companies like general mill, but they're trying to protect themselves basically from class action lawsuits, so you're right, they've changed the language. the if you download something off of the site like a coupon, if you like them on facebook, you're going to see this disclaimer that says you give up your right to sue the company. say that you've got a peanut be allergy, for example, and that product is labeled wrong, you're saying, okay, i'll go to arbitration, but i cannot sue. they're trying to deal with litigation across the company. this does protect them. i will say this though, jenna, at least the company will pay for the arbitration but, yes, any of these new programs, a sweepstakes, you give up your rights. very interesting. jenna: interesting. and, obviously, major companies are the target for a lot of lawsuits. so it's
