in the delmarva right across chesapeake bay, getting close to sussex county, delaware and these othertorms near washington, they will be moving into other portions of delaware and maybe extreme south jersey over the next couple hours. we just had one little shower in lewes so one part of the area has already seen at least some rain. we do expect at least isolated thunderstorms coming across parts of delaware and south jersey over the next several hours, as you see even into the later night hours. sheena will be tracking those as the evening goes on. for the night tonight, a chance of a thunderstorm as you saw in delaware and south jersey. less humid late. look at the low temperature north and west, 59. that's a sign of things to come. warm and windy tomorrow, less humid. highs in the upper 80s, near 90 degrees. if we hit 90 tomorrow, that's going to be it. because we're nowhere near it on thursday. beautiful day, clouds increase, a storm goes by to our south so friday, it could be a lot of rain in southern areas and very little to the north. then look how nice that weekend is shaping

looking at some downpours lightning and then take a look around the chesapeake bay area. this moving towards salisbury maryland could it me move into parts of sussex county. that's the area to watch for that severe weather threat. far to the south and east of our area. as we go hour by hour, once again, it's just going to be a few isolated thunderstorms that carry over through our area a little later on tonight. so if you're stepping outdoors most of us stay dry. those isolated storms far south and east. it stays warm by 9:00 o'clock. we're looking at 83 degrees. and then lower humidity later on tonight and overnight 79 degrees by 11:00 o'clock. so the high temperature 93 degrees. making it day eight of our heat wave. just a string of 90s take a look. going all the way back to last tuesday. but thankfully it hasn't really been that oppressive with the feel like temperatures getting really too high. so right now it's 90 degrees in philadelphia. those dew points below 60. so it is a little more comfortable across our area. 90 in atlantic city. we're looking at temperatures
