(vicki) in the south bay.. police say angelica rodriguez of san jose turned herself in after hitting a pedestrian with her car yesterday morning. the crash happened on duane avenue near kenneth street in santa clara. police say the victim has just stepped out of his parked car when rodriguez struck him. the victim was sent to the hospital in critical condition. rodriguez initially fled the scene but later turned herself in. she was arrested and booked on suspicion of hit-and-run resulting in injury.
