around the philadelphia area, mostly off to parts of chester county. but as we go through the next hour, 5:00 p.m., storms and heavy rain are going to rapidly move to the north and northeast. this whole area is quick moving. a lot of the storms that we see, individual ones moving at 60 miles an hour. each hour we're going to see conditions change. 7:00 p.m., part of the area could get a break. notice that line of thunderstorms glenn showed you approaching lehigh valley, delaware by 7:00. we expect this to be containing strong storms, damaging winds, potentially lightning, maybe isolated tornado. 8:00, line gets closer to the philadelphia area in wilmington, allentown, poconos and moves to the east. now this whole line itself is moving around 30 miles an hour. so we'll keep tracking this. by 10:00 p.m., should be moving into new jersey and delaware, philadelphia area. by 10:00 p.m. storms could be strong with damaging winds possible. by 11:00 tonight, we do expect some storms around, a lot of this should be starting to come to an end. but a stormy eveni

getting hit the worst right now with severe thunderstorms in parts of chester county and york county, all headed to the east and quickly paste. -- quickly paced. brevard getting a pretty good storm right now transylvania county. later this week, wendy until late tonight and colder temperatures behind this burn start to come in. it will create snow in mountains of north carolina. flurries of snow along the tennessee-north carolina border, pretty much like what we have seen in the wake of this storm from chicago to st. louis. we will get some snowy weather right along the tennessee-north and tomorrow morning. could cause delays. we will have that information first thing tomorrow morning should any counties report a delay because of that snowy weather expected. what a storm it has been. that is a tornado watch area for parts of the eastern part of the upstate to the center part of north carolina. here is a quick look at the temperatures. it got up to 70 in greenville, 71 in abbeville, 75 in elberton after the cold day yesterday. we got into the upper 40's and it has warmed up today. we a

there's been a severe thunderstorm warning issued for york and chester county working into mecklenburg county. these wind speeds estimated picking up from around 50 miles per hour to 60 miles per hour or stronger. now again some of the returns we're getting from the radar are pretty high up in the sky. but it's picking up wind above us of 60 plus miles per hour. so i'm really concerned about some significant wind damage working its way into rock hill to fort mill down in through chester. probably get another severe thunderstorm warning issued out of this line. moving at 55 to 60 miles per hour. earlier, we came on the air, right around 11:30, 11:40, there was a tornado warning alexander counties. the storm that prompted the warning through alexander, moved out into wilkes county. and they've raised it to a severe thunderstorm warning. tornado warning. that's great news for sure. as we look ahead to high wind warnings coming through for the heavy weather that's been pushing through part of york and in through chester counties. a high wind warning. so wind speeds, what are they estimatin
