chevy wheeler and cindy. and any other bodies after that, we would gauche aate a figure on them. he's on death row. he's not going anywhere. i don't get anything. there's no rewards on these. >> so shermantineth row. he agreed with padilla to draw this map for him to go out there to find these remains. he's getting money as we mentioned $33,000. that amount of money, how does that sit with you? >> well, i don't think he should get any money. but mr. padilla and i are good friends. we have been for a long time. i went out there with him myself on one of the hunts with the cadaver dogs. and so i thank mr. padilla for doing it so we can get closure on it but i think shermantine should have done it to maybe get a little remorse or something so that we could possibly have closure on this and go on with our lives. >> who was providing this money who ultimately shermantine will get? are you, are other parents giving to this bounty? >> not that i know of. i'm not. it's all mr. padilla. that's what he wants to do. so he is a very good man and that's -- and that's what he wanted to do. so that's great. >> and he said padilla said he had been in contact with shermantine for i want to say 10, 12 years.

shermantine led authorities to the area earlier this month. that is where investigators found the remains of two other victims now identified as chevy wheeler and j.r stone. he has been following the search is in the san andreas. tell us what will happen today. >>j.r.: that is the big question. the sheriff's office has been very hush hush about this search operation. one day there are looking in one place, the other day they're looking in another place. yesterday, they started in this area early in the morning and searched up into the evening. at one point it was so dark you could not see much. i suspect they will be back in that area again today. >> i have been in contact with the san joaquin sheriff's office. they were out there a couple of days ago. they have been out there in the large steel. at this point it sounds like they are not finding what they had hoped to find in that area. that is one of the reasons why they came back to this section. i know that the search is still active. if you ask people in this area of calaveras county, they think there are several more bodies in the area they're searching. i spoke with one gentleman who went
