the person who runs the saint liberty school is half crowe one half northern cheyenne. most all the teachers are native americans i will bring in people from the jesuit volunteer corps to come help out. they're not not a lot of qualified teachers on the reservation. this woman who fired half of her staff, her whole staff at her elementary school, what she did was hire teachers from another local elementary school which now has a teaching shortage. in a fall on pine ridge there typically classrooms, about 40 or 50 classrooms that have no teacher. so the idea that you can just say i like you, you're right, you're too white i won't have you come of these kids need some kind of quality. they need some kind of educated adult at the front of that room offering them some tools for the future. and the kind of objections you hear would be deeply worrisome to parents on the reservation who want something better for their kids. >> is just wondering, i don't much, but how does the situation and the indian in canada stiffer? from what i understand they have different policies. >> th
