there is not a big change in temperatures from boston out through chicago. and there is no real cold air for this time of year. that is going to be the theme from the midwest into new south. as we go through much of next week. look at some of these rainfall totals. south of austin, texas. close to a foot of rain. once again, dealing with a lot of flash flooding in portions of texas. this time close to the austin area. now, this rain shield is moving off to the north and to the northeast. the system breaks apart, in fact, some of it will try to slide off to the east. and another chunk of this moisture will get wound up into the midwest and then maybe into southern canada, but it loses a lot of strength. come on through, i don't expect much out of it. you know, i can't rule out a passing sprinkle or brief shower on sunday. much of the day is dry and many of us won't even see. that here is the pattern into next week. we do get cold and stormy through the west coast. that will allow the ridge to build through the midwest, ohio valley and into the northeast. mild
