history project then became the chinatown history museum. and back in the when i discovered that my chin grandfather, who i did not know growing up because i was estranged from that side of the family, i knew from his obituary that he had an oral history at the museum and all the way back then i was in search of that oral history. i did not get my hands on that oral history until some something years later. but i, i can say i would love to give a shout out to all of the many people who are working in local, particularly archives is for marginalized communities where larger museums are not saving these important archives of individuals who are important to stories. tell if if those young historians did not do that work back then i don't think i could have done, you know, significant sections of this book. so it's a shout out to those folks and. i know that you as well used to work at that museum. am i correct? professor liu? yes, yeah. that was the amazing piece of this was that when i picked up the book and saw mott street as the title i had

i love walking around chinatown.go hungry right between shopping and the eating and just the looking and meeting. it's a beautiful, beautiful way to spend an afternoon noon or two or three. or 10? yes alright, let's talk about something that we hope never happens to us. gosh mother and her children were moving into their new home and all their happiness and surprised took a major turn. thanks to an unwelcome discovery. amber hall was unpacking. they just bought a home in colorado. she noticed one of her dogs was acting a little strange kind of crouched down at one corner of the house. she's not averse. maybe there's a spider there, but no, there were several snakes in the walls. she also found several snakes under her patio. she's now spent more than $1000 on traps and called in a professional to help. the snake wrangler that caught some snakes for me, said that the snakes he caught looked to be about 2 to 3 years old, so he imagines that there's um they've been here for a long time and that there's a lot more. just
