so how can chipotle keep up this magnificent run? the stock has rallied, up 45%, it's climbed 26% just in the last 30 days. keep in mind, we're now in the end of the year mode, where the money management imperative controls with fast-growing momentum stocks like chipotle rallying. i think hedge funds and management funds should keep buying this through any weakness through the end of the year. and even though that's a legitimate reason to stick with the stock that made a new high today, for the next six weeks, you know we have always got to keep track of the underlying fundamentals, as part of the necessary homework you should be doing with every single stock you own. last time chipotle reported a little less than mooa month agot posted better than expected revenues, with a terrific 6.2 it couldn't increase in same-store sales, the highest i saw. so there's no wonder the stock has been on fire. and chipotle's got an absolute growth runway, with 1,529 stores as of the end of the september, the management plans to add another 180 to 19
