jeff, what can you tell us about disney and chipotle. >> yeah, absolutely. disney is phenomenal. just this frozen movie just continues to give to disney we had a 19% jump in the earnings on that first quarter, $2.8 billion here and a lot of that is coming out of the merchandising still from frozen. the consumer products division is up 22%. international, not so strong issues with the shanghai and hong kong resorts dragging down that segment. but disney is doing fine. up 3%. just on chipotle, this mexican grill business they seem to be doing well because mcdonald's is not doing so well they're clearly picking up some business here w the group they call fast casual, i think that's 18 to 30 who want a quick fix, they want a healthy fix, instead of going to mcdonald's they're now going to chipotle even though they reported something like 50%-plus increase in earnings for the quarter ended december 30th, the shares were off 5% in the after-hours. a little disappointed those numbers weren't stronger. but they seem to be doing fine compared to their major rival. >>> tell us about the me

chipotle thinking about a price increase. landon dowdy joining us live to explain the reason for that. good morning to you. >> aaron, good morning. chipotle is mulling the idea of raising prices for steak items on its menu to offset higher costs. the move wouldn't likely happen until the middle of this year. chipotle reported earnings on tuesday that beat wall street forecasts thanks to strong customer traffic. but food costs account the for a third of the company's revenue. and netflix is back online after suffering an outage for more than an hour on tuesday. the company says it's still investigating the cause of the outage which affected users in north and south america. and parts of europe. people took to twitter to express their collective display. among the funniest tweets next netflix is done, so maybe i'll talk to my first for the first time. they seem like nice people. aaron, i told you not to tweet that. >> i didn't even know you you followed me, but that's the reality. figure out how to talk to real people these day

i think it's chipotle, which dropped 50 points. on what's widely regards as a less profitable quarter coupled with disappointing guidance. so what are the sellers thinking? that's what we need to do in this show. what's in their heads? well they went out before chipotle's string of double digit same store sales runs out. it's too difficult to own given the company doesn't want to raise prices and can't keep the streak of amazing performance going. i think that judgment's dead wrong. first, the quarter was marred by the decision to not take work from a supplier who treated pigs inhumanely. go read the conference call, and believe me you will agree with that costly decision. second i think the market's view proved to be shortsighted. or as said on the call while it may look like we're staring down the pike at sort of flattening sales and no increase comps, it looked that way ten years ago and nine years ago and eight years ago and seven, six, five four, three, two, one years ago. then acknowledged the possibility of flattening again.
