. >>> chp today released of a helicopter rescues of a jogger in napa. it happened yesterday around 3:30 in the afternoon along a trail in skyline park. the chp says the jogger had seriously hurt her left ankle and do not walk. because of the steep terrain, rescuers called in the helicopter to assist. the woman was take on a nearby hospital for treatment. >>> the search continues for two men in connection with an armed robbery at a pizzeria that ended with an employee being shot. it happened before 8:30 last night at a little caesar's. police say the robber stormed the business and demanded money from the woman working the register. for some reason, one of the robbers opened fire hitting the woman in the arm. the men grabbed cash and took off running. the victim was awake and talking when she was taken away by paramedics. the two robbers were wearing hooded sweatshirts that covered their faces but police are going over surveillance video in hopes of identifies them. >>> classes are in session at an oakland middle school where the cafeteria caught fire ye

the chp called a sig alert this afternoon. all lanes of south bound 101 were flooded. you can see cars creeping along. the backup spanned two miles and some motorists complained of half hour delays. motorists have seen flooding in this area in the past even as recently as december. but today's flooding caused some of the most significant delays. what you're looking at now is smooth sailing on highway 101 on marsh road in both directions north and south bound. but the big problem is the wind. it's hard to even stand up, very gusty out here which is always a concern for high profile vehicles. back to you. >> thank you very much. >>> if you were on the roads, you saw the dangerous conditions firsthand. there were several accidents across the bay area because of the rain. >> it's crazy down here. >> reporter: the slick roads kept the chp busy. if it wasn't accidents, it was flooded roadways that kept drivers on their toes. >> scary. >> yeah that was real high. better be careful. be safe out there, man. it's crazy out there. floods everywhere. >> reporter: standing water wa

chp says the officer's bike slid into another motorcycle. the second biker stayed upright and was unhurt. >>> new details about last spring's rampage near the uc- santa barbara campus. a report says the gunman plotted that attack for more than a year. kpix 5's veronica de la cruz is in the newsroom with some of the discoveries. >> reporter: what we've learned is elliott roger prepared long and carefully for his assault on fellow students last may. according to a new report, in december of 2012, roger began spending thousands of dollars to get the guns and ammo. and he visited gun ranges on several occasions in the months leading up to his attack. but investigators say he twice postponed his night of terror. they think he practiced stabbing and slashing techniques before the attack. rogers stabbed george chen of san jose 94 times. the two other victims inside the apartment were also ambushed and stabbed each more than a dozen times. they were also from the bay area. later rogers started shooting people while driving around the isla vista camp
