>> reporter: chp found information in the car. they believe they know who the suspect is but they don't leave he is in this berkeley neighborhood anymore. this started at 11:30 last night in concord. the chp had to stop following the suspect in a stolen honda accord when it started going the wrong way on highway 4 and i-80. the suspect went through nine cities before crashing with the gmc envoy here in berkeley. >> we ran multiple traffic breaks to attempt to stop the driver at a safe location during all this that was going on. actually called 9-1-1 and made a few statements to our diswatch. we heard he relayed he wasn't going back to jail. >> reporter: the suspect said if the helicopter would stop following him he would stop his car, however the chp continued to follow and record him from their helicopter. the chp checked each house and backyard in the area. unfortunately they weren't able to find the suspect. they believe he is the white young man between 20 to 25 years old with short hair. they have tips that will follow up on

take a look at pictures provided by the chp. this shows a male driver, 95 to 97 suv, maybe a placeser. you cannot see the girl in these pictures. it looked like she was kneeling at the center console screaming and struggling with the passengers in the right front seat, described as a woman 40 to 50, wearing a multicolored scarf. the chp is now seeking possible witnesses who may have spotted this suv. this was a dumble days ago, saturday night around 8:30 p.m. heading west into san francisco. the suv had no license plates, but did have a temporary prayeding permit in the lower right area of the back window. investigators want to talk to the adults. it does remain unclear if any actual crime happened, but again this is reported because there were humans stillmaning the tolls here at the bay bridge. you may remember the golden gate bridge did away with this a couple years ago. so the question is the value these humans bring to the tolls. >> could prove life-saving. >>> a san jose police officer accused of rape and domestic violence

these are photos from the chp.ed yesterday when the officers say they spotted the men acting suspiciously. the officers say the men had a large trash bag full of copper wire and it appears they were breaking into electrical boxes. the chp is waiting for an estimate on how much wire was taken. that will determine whether the men are charged with misdemeanors or felonies. >>> our time is 7:37. ktvu is getting new details about a wrong-way crash on the bay bridge. it happened last november and injured several people. prosecutors have now filed charges against the driver. 33-year-old kerrie lynn morgan of vacaville. that's after a toxicology report confirmed she was high on a combination of drugs that included methamphetamines and marijuana. on november 8, morgan was seen driving westbound on the eastbound shoulder of the bridge with no lights on. she crashed head on into a nissan and then careened into another car. 36-year-old jared petty of richmond and his 35-year-old wife angie were in that nissan. according to the
