chris crest okay.ve one more minute here, and i want to get into another subject i wanted to talk about which is the case of the national security adviser, michael flynn. he denied that sean spicer denied, vice president pence sitting at this table denied that he had talked to the russian ambassador about sanctions, it now turns out -- apparently from signal intelligence -- that he did talk about it. is he in trouble? >> i think that this week will be clarifying on whether he's in trouble u. to understand how many times this story has changed. first, it was the date cans of the calls that changed, second it was the number of times he spoke to the russian ambassador, now we're told that the content has changed. and the fact that the vice president went to flynn -- and this has been backed up by the vice president's aides -- went to flynn and asked what happened in those calls and was told a story that may not be true, it's hard to see how a national security adviser can continue on in that role if they'

i am chris wallace infrared fire. we are awaiting word from the ninth circuit court of appeals on its decision about president trump's immigration executive order. the order temporary limits travel from seven largely muslim countries and suspends all refugees from coming to the u.s. has been blocked by a federal judge. now we are told a ruling from a 3-judge panel reviewing the court order is coming down shortly, perhaps in this hour. chief white house correspondent john roberts begins coverage tonight. >> when we get the ruling, and it could be anytime between now and probably 8:00 eastern time, it's expected to be a very narrow ruling. this will deal only with the temporary restraining order against the president's immigration band that was imposed by judge james robart. there's a number of things that the ninth circuit court of appeals could do. it could lift the temporary restraining order altogether. it could keep it in place or it could lift parts of it. if the white house does prevail, it is expected to reinsta
