bucks county courthouse in doylestown this morning. and matt this has been a wild ride for tolly here. set the stage for us. >> reporter: it has, chris. and that jury selection's scheduled to begin at 9:30 this morning right here at the courthouse in doylestown. the former philly tv sportscaster is accused of stealing $317,000 from 200 people who bought various sports vacations, saying the money was for charity. now, tollefson had pleaded guilty in september but withdrew that plea just weeks ago. he said he would represent himself at trial, but then he had a change of heart and sought after an attorney who would take up the case for free. well, on friday, the judge, refusing to allow this trial to be delayed any longer appointed a standby attorney and tollefson talked with us about that decision. >> i was really delighted that we got an excellent private attorney appointed by judge boyle and who agreed to be my standby counsel. so, i think that's a very positive development. >> reporter: positive hopes there from don tollefson. the case started almost a year ago with tollefson's arrest. again, that jury selection is scheduled to begi

chris tull i, last seen tuesday in philadelphia. our jennifer joyce is live at a candlelight vigil tonight in bucks county. jennifer? >> reporter: jokes the candlelight vigil pretty much wrapped up here, but very large crowd of friends family supporters, of the tully family, christopher tully's favorite color red a lot of people here today wearing red rib operates in honor of him. these people, no chris different aspect of life, families friends some call him coach some teacher. he was named teacher of the year in 2014 by the pennsylvania association for career and technical education. all of these people hoping chris returns home to his wife and three children safely and soon. tully last seen in philadelphia on tuesday. his family says he has bipolar disorder, was on his way to an appointment when he jumped out after vehicle that he was riding in, his family and friends that we've talked to say they don't know why he did that, it is behavior out of character for him. he has a reputation as a wonderful man who would do anything for anyone, and tonight his wife, kelly their three boys, were at the vigil. yesterday ke
