shery: thank you so much for that, chris. canre red flag to the global central bank's worry list. the fed is stepping up as warnings about the perils of risky global debt. kathleen hays is here with the details. how much of a surprise was this? kathleen: they started issuing a financial stability report last year in november. it seems like the level of warning they are concerned about risk has definitely risen since the end of november. i want to jump into the bloomberg library and take a look at a chart. they did say in spite of this chart i am showing you about u.s. corporate debt, beware credit markets. the ratio of debt to gdp now at record highs. it comes into a report when they said the banking system still looks resilient. they are not saying things are follow -- falling apart. however, they noted in the report that the businesses right now who have the biggest debt loads are the ones taking on the riskiest loans. banks provide lenders protection against the borrower defaults, but those protections have started to erode. s

it looks like you can do a lot of damage with a single shot weapon. darren? >> chris, let me jump in on that and you can do a lot of damage. it doesn't have to be a fully automatic weapon, it doesn't have to be a semiautomatic. chris, you and i remember virginia tech. when the 21, 22-year-old shooter there had two semiautomatic pistols and he was able to create that much murder and mayhem on that campus. so it's not really the capacity of the weapon necessarily, it's how dedicated that shooter is, what type of environment is he shooting in and how quickly can law enforcement respond. and the challenge is most mass shooters go into an environment where they believe there's not going to be anybody who can stand up against them. in essence, they don't think there's going to be a police officer there to take them on at that time. what they're pryitrying to do i kill as many people as they can. if the police show up, then a murder-suicide takes place. this guy's probably ultimate goal like many may well have been to die in this incident. he was able to do that but why coul
