if governors like chris christi e, mitch daniels -- you are going to see some serious cuts and changes, and that is a change that could happen if a republican governor is elected and -- this is a big hand -- and we continue the trend in pennsylvania of having what i would call moderate, middle-of- the-road, pro-union republicans replaced by democrats or by losing their seats to democrats and having more conservative republicans from the west make up their place in the new house and senate majority. i think there is a possibility. when you are $4 billion down in revenues and you are balancing the budget with one time revenues for basically the last three years, it would seem foolhardy to rule out the kind of billion dollar revenue boosts we would get from selling the liquor stores. it probably requires the republicans taking back the house in pennsylvania and the governorship. in my mind, that is a good thing, because elections have consequences, and that could well be one of the consequences of this fall election in pennsylvania. host: our guest peter decoursey is bureau chief and edit
