i want to share a tweet by chris hayes. reason sondland is so dangerous is he was speaking directly to the president. >> so unfortunately the president is not playing out any sort of legal argument in the constitution. it say most where that you don't have to comply with congressional requests. if you don't like what the questions are or if you this it is a "kangaroo court." so we have yet to see a legal argument from the white house as to why they were not complying with these requests. we have not seen the state department let tore sondland. i think all we have at this point is a response from his lawyer. the white house has not responded at all to the request by congressional democrats for documents. we have nod heard a legal argument from them. just because you think something is being investigated as sill rrsilly or corrupt, these members of congress were elected by the people and there is a constitutional process that lays out how they conduct investigations and oversight. so that is what i'm waiting for. that's what
