the bottom line, is chris hughes right, it's time to break it all up? have to talk first about what he is proposing here and whether or not it is feasible. those are the two key questions we have to grapple with. i'll take, you know, the question of whether or not what he is proposing first. what hughes suggested is, one, spinning off companies like instagram and what's app. then, second, getting an independent regulator, separate government agency to oversee the tech industry more closely. you know, these are pretty substantial asks here. the ftc, the federal trade commission is currently investigating facebook for privacy practices. experts tell me, if the agency were to try to break up the company, that would likely require a separate proceeding that would be an anti-trust proceeding, not related to this investigation. so, that sort of gives you an idea of how difficult it might be to achieve some of what chris hughes is suggesting here. >> i guess, in the meantime, facebook offered, to a point, some type of privacy. is that an answer? is that even r
