and chris johnson is director of research with the johnson research group. great to have you with us today. stephanie, do you think that the theory of worse-to-to first works? >> i think it depends on the macro. so far this year we've gotten better economic data, somewhat better earnings on low expectations. investors have had more confidence in more riskier assets. so i think that's why this year, so far they have worked. but mandy, this year has been so much different from last year, in that this year is a stock picker's market, versus last year when stocks were 95% correlated to the market. so you really have to dig in deep here. there's winners and definitely some stocks that are a little ahead of themselves. >> chris, you don't think the worst-to-first strategy is particularly good, but you think the this is a good strategy? >> going in and find the horse ha lost the last race is not a good strategy to pick the next race winner. these are stocks i would look at and almost casually glance at. i think in this particular case, there are a couple stocks tha
