chris kyle was with my son when he was killed. chris became like a son to me.g both of them but to see the trailer on this film obviously it's bittersweet. definitely mixed emotions there. i look forward to seeing the film. telling the story of chris kyle, not just what they did as navy s.e.a.l.s but who he was growing up. he loved to rope growing up in texas and it shows the life and not just the navy s.e.a.l. but who he was as a man and who he was as a father and who he was as a son and it's going to be amazing to see that on film. to see that hollywood is standing behind our troops and telling their stories and i can tell you that as a mom, it's the strangest thing to see my son's name on a granite wall or in a movie or in a book but when we have heroes who did what these guys did, their stories need to be told. marc was on s.e.a.l. team 3 and charlie platoon and delta platoon about 32 guys are the most highly decorated special ops units since vietnam. amazing group of men. it shows all of what happened. it shows the deployments. what it does to the family.
