let's get to chris lambert who is still tracking the storm. >>meteorologist: winds 50 miles 20 miles per hour. it will likely the remnant low of it work into the northwestern gulf of mexico by sunday and try to regenerate a bit. thinking more of rain maker than anything else. and a big rain maker at that. we've seen issues overnight close to dallas, texas as a front has been stalled out across this area if not just slowly drifting off to the south now as the cold front. with a lot of tropical moisture riding along that front and lifting up and ringing out a ton of rain. rain south of the city of dallas morning. we've had a tremendous amount of rain so far that will continue a good 5 to 10 inches likely through southeastern texas as we weekend. big rain maker there. a little bit of that moisture gets pulled into a system that will deal with wednesday night into thursday. that's the next best chance of widespread rain. in the mean time mostly cloudy skies close to 50 we're back into the 60s tomorrow. we'll talk more about the >>> of course for a

chris lambert and you were sitting in the weather center and we could not take our eyes off this eye right here very textbook imagery we're getting here with this massive storm here, a category five. you can see how close it is to the southwestern coast of mexico here, expected to make landfall within the next few hours. we're watching that very closely closely. you did mention the strongest storm on record for the western hemisphere so we can technically call it the strongest hurricane ever recorded for the eastern north pacific and atlantic. the minute pressure right now is only 9 millibars higher than the lowest pressure ever recorded worldwide. that was typhoon ted back in 19 1979 so again talking about a very impactful storm, expected to make landfall as a category five hurricane. this just erupted overnight last night. one of those signatures of el nino is the warm ocean temperature in the part say civic and that just fuels this storm making it stronger and stronger as many of us slept last night, but watch what happens with the track here. as it does make landfall, it does dei

let's go to chris lambert with more on the forecast . >> reporter: huge area of high pressure to the north and that pressure difference from high to the north and joaquin down to the south is driving in a strong northeasterly wind along our coastline. let's take a look at the latest here. this hurricane has been parked across the central bahamas from better part of the last 24 hours now beginning to wobble northbound at five miles per hour going to san salvador island. that north movement, that is good. that's what we were waiting to see here because if that goes to the north and then to the northeast, we're going to be consistent here with the forecast models that now mostly indicate that this is well out to sea and that's why the national hurricane center also has adjusted that forecast over the last 24 hours farther and farther east. winds right now 130 miles per hour, look how far off the east bound this is by the time we get into monday morning, hundred miles offshore is the track, hundred miles offshore of new england as well by the time we get into tuesday morning so we're exp

. >>> we are tracking hurricane chris lambert for a check on where the hurricane is now. >>> it land fell last night at 6:00 down in the southwestern mexico. now becoming more of a rain maker for central mexico more than anything else, winds at 75 miles per hour, but it's moving off to the northeast, at 25 miles an hour, a tropical storm and a remnant low this afternoon. the story from this point on, is going to be the rain across mexico and across texas because as we go through the next couple of days a lot of this moisture is going to continue to stream in toward the southern part of the united states. tropical connection with that moisture, even this morning, some of this tropical moisture is getting across the front, that cold front is slowly going to move off to the south. we are seeing the rain not just through the morning, but through the rest of the weekend, it will shift down to the south and the east, and closer to houston and back to louisiana as we get to tomorrow afternoon, plenty of moisture and flooding to be had in this part of the country. a bit of this moisture will

according to reports investigators may have found evidence that lyft's chief technology officer chris lambertnvolved. the breach had gone undetected for four months by uber. it wasn't disclosed to the public until february of 2015. in a statement to cnbc, lyft denied the involvement of any of its employees saying, quote, uber allowed log in credentials for their driver database to be publicly accessible on get hub for months before and after a data breach in may of 2014. we investigated this matter long ago and there are no facts or evidence that any lyft employee, including chris, downloaded the uber driver information or database or had anything to do with uber's may 2014 data breach. uber declined to comment. the two companies are at odds in the ride hailing wars with lyft which is much smaller with $2.5 billion valuation joining forces with uber's biggest chinese rival several weeks ago. uber much bigger, valued at $51. very juicy if true. >> last chance to get your guess this is about our mystery chart. it's not a stock, it's a sector. it's held up better than most this year. we'll tell
