chris lambert and you were sitting in the weather center and we could not take our eyes off this eye right here very textbook imagery we're getting here with this massive storm here, a category five. you can see how close it is to the southwestern coast of mexico here, expected to make landfall within the next few hours. we're watching that very closely closely. you did mention the strongest storm on record for the western hemisphere so we can technically call it the strongest hurricane ever recorded for the eastern north pacific and atlantic. the minute pressure right now is only 9 millibars higher than the lowest pressure ever recorded worldwide. that was typhoon ted back in 19 1979 so again talking about a very impactful storm, expected to make landfall as a category five hurricane. this just erupted overnight last night. one of those signatures of el nino is the warm ocean temperature in the part say civic and that just fuels this storm making it stronger and stronger as many of us slept last night, but watch what happens with the track here. as it does make landfall, it does dei
