chris marvin is head of got your six. thanks so much. tell me about this partnership. hollywood film, and it's raising money for military charities. what are you planning to do with the money? >> well, we're really proud to be working with lone survivor. pete berg has really created a masterpiece and something that all post-9/11 veterans should be very proud of. something that shows what we've done in the last ten or more years in afghanistan. the film is really compelling. it's really poignant. we know that when people leave the theater, they're going to want to do something. they're going to want to act. so what we were able to do with nbc universal and with film 44, pete berg's company, was create the lone survivor fund. this fund is something that anybody who sees the film can learn about the nonprofits we're supporting, donate to the fund and the funds will be split between got your six, the navy s.e.a.l. foundation and lone survivor foundation. >> you're a former blackhawk pilot from afghanistan. we thank you for your service. this comes at a critical time and te

chris marvin joins us now. you were wounded in afghanistan as a captain there, right? >> i was. a year before the "lone survivor" isn't. >> his book is a best seller. now a movie. we see it will be big. premiere last night. what was your take? >> the movie is incredible. it's powerful. as a veteran, i'm really proud to see other service members portrayed in a positive and accurate light. and more importantly, it's a story that needs to be told. if americans don't understand stories like this, then why did we go? why did we go fight in afghanistan. >> peter berg is a director who you interacted with to make sure he understands the need to use real military people as a consultant and actually in films like this. >> absolutely. pete is a veteran behind of the cram, in front of the camera and a leader in hollywood using veterans as assets, making his films. >> why is that important? >> behind the camera veterans are great employees. they do a great job making films. in front of the cameras and as consultants, they make the portrayal more accurate and that's what americans need to se
