matt: chris, if we head towards 3% on treasuries and janet yellen sticks with 2% or 3% -- three interest rate increases, the dollar rate could be temporary. chris: i think we've got a ways to go on the dollar. it is beginning to look pretty fully valued. when you look around the world at the alternatives, it is one of the few currencies, major currencies, which isn't still being manipulated. you've kind of got tacit central-bank support for it going a little firmer. i think that is on the cards. matt: on the other hand, this trump trade that you've sort of alluded to, it seems to have been unwound over the last week. do you see it leveling out here? i think, as i mentioned, , think this corrective phase consolidation, was to be expected from a technical perspective. that is what you would look for. markets can correct in a number of ways. one is the traditional pullback. another is a sideways motion. in the short-term, the evidence seemed to be suggesting a sideways movement while we waited for policy confirmation. i think that is going to drive it. we are going to see how much substance
