. >> chris nallan is tracking the storm. >> good morning. yeah, take a look at these wind rereports coming in near charleston, 98 miles per hour. now we're looking forward into your friday and what's happening here is a storm that has become now a cat 1 still wreaking havoc across the coast of the carolinas then eventually scooting up the east coast here and then out to sea towards, say, saturday morning but before it does that it's going to certainly add to some rough conditions out on the waters, rough seas and, of course, the potential for some high tidal coastal flooding in and around say long island up towards cape cod as well. as for the carolinas, well, we're talking about impacts to be widespread with travel disruptions, obviously flooding going on up to virginia and then up the coast here into your saturday morning, the east part of long island, twin forks out towards cape cod is where we could see gusty winds and beach erosion. so the storm continues. kenneth and janai. back to you. >>> new images of the devastation in the bahamas
