live in san jose, i'm chris nguyen, abc 7 news. >> chris, thank you. >>> breaking news overseas. a deadly terrorist attack in turkey has killed at least 31 people and injured at least 147 others at the airport in istanbul. and those numbers are unfortunately expected to rise. turkish officials say three suicide bombers carried out at tack. the tackers -- attackers opened fire with machine guns and then detonated explosives. security cameras caught the moment one of the explosions went off. surveillance cameras also captured one of the suicide bombers running through the hallway, you see him fall to the ground right there and his gun goes flying and people start to run in all sorts of directions and then the bomb explodes. it is believed the gunmen were trying to pass through security x-ray machines and they were stopped and people didn't know where to go and people were trying to squeeze inside of an airport store. it was described as chaotic at the third busiest airport. >> just after it went off, no one had a clue which way to run. people just panicking and someone would say so

in palo alto, chris nguyen, abc7 news. >> a forler stanford hospital housekeeper has been charged with sexual battery on a fellow worker. the man surrendered at the santa clara county jail. the police say the assault happened alt 3:00 on march 26th. he's accused of battering a male hospital contractor who had been napping and woke up after being touched. ramirez was later identified and turned himself in to authorities. >> in the east bay, police arrested two men accused of an attempted burglary in arinda. officers spotted them trying to burglarize a car this morning. police used a taser to bring down one of the men. they say the suspects picked a home close to b.a.r.t., robbed the home, and then escaped on b.a.r.t. police are warning residents about a spree of home burglaries this week. four robbery attempts happened in moraga and two in arinda. >> critical evidence in a vallejo kidnapping case will not be thrown out. that's the ruling from a federal judge tonight. vallejo police initially called the kidnapping a hoax, but it wasn't. melanie wood row is in vallejo. >> for the first ti
