chris pallone has more. >> health officials in san diego county, california, say a 2-year-old boy died monday after being sick several days. the cause complications from an e. coli infection. >> last night around 7:30 we were notified of a fourth case. also informed that a young child had passed away. >> three other children ages 9 to 13 have also been sickened by the bacteria. officials say all four visited the san diego county fair between june 8th and june 15th. and all visited animal exhibits, a petting zoo or other contact with livestock at the fair. >> although no specific animal activity implicated at this time in an abundance of caution the petting zoo has been closed and pu has been restricted until the fair closes. >> the toddler who died got sick on june 19th, four days after visiting the fair. he was taken to the hospital where he developed a syndrome, a severe complication of e. coli infection which leads to kidney failure. health inspectors have are trying to determine the source of the bacteria but say all food stands at the fair have been inspected and found safe. >> th
