chris pollone, nbc news, washington. police in antioch now believe a late night shootout on saturday night led to the death of both men involved. this happened in the parking lot outside of the delta bowl bowling alley on delta fair boulevard. one man died there at the scene, the other at a nearby hospital. investigators now say that it started with some kind of altercation that escalated into gunfire when one armed man approached another in his car. investigators are still trying to piece together the issues that led to the gunfire. dramatic video shows the seconds leading up to a deadly high speed crash in the east bay that killed a security guard, and we should warn you, we do stop the video before impact. cameras from a tesla car captured the crash. you can see it speeding along. now we freeze the video. once the car goes airborne. but it slammed into a guard post at a gated community called the lakes in discovery bay, killing one guard. and seriously injuring another. it happened just before midnight on friday. the
