chris sanchez is joining us live this morning with where the money would go.s. >> reporter: good morning to you, sam and laura. that is proposed bridge toll hike to affect all bridges except for the golden gate bridge and it would fund all kinds of improvements, infrastructure from the highways to the bridges and also for mass transit and it is a unanimous yes in the transportation committee. they passed it unanimously yesterday in the state assembly. so-called regional measure 3. the california state version is showing promise and if it makes it through goes on the ballot for june of next year. the proposal starts with a $1 hike that would raise $127 million a year. a $2 increase would generate $254 million a year. and then a $3 increase would raise $381 million a year for improvements. now, in a recent poll, 56 of voters said definitely or probably yes to that regional measure 3. 43% said probably or definitely no. that poll was about 3,000 likely voters. it was commissioned by the silicon valley leadership group and the bay area council, as well. here's how
