sununu: very private. chris: senator sherman, you said governor sununu signed an abortion banded the definition of a ban officially or legally prohibit something, but abortions are obviously still attainable in new hampshire are you lie and when you said he put in an abortion ban? dr. sherman: absolutely not. he put in a band that we did not have before. we did not have a van at 24 weeks, which is what he put in place. what he said yesterday, he said he could not veto a budget containing the ban, because there was a continuing resolution. in 2019, when he decided he was going to veto that budget, we had a continuing resolution in 24 hours per on june 3, 2021, he went on the radio and said he would sign a budget that had an abortion ban in it before the budget even passed the legislature. three weeks later, he signed it. he had three weeks, and he did nothing to protect the women of new hampshire. he signed into law an abortion ban. governor, i have to know, when you signed that, did you have the courage to stand

maggie hassan, republicans didn't get chris sununu, the governor of the state. bennett, a swing state-ish, colorado, he's up 6. being up 6 is better than being up none. this is the one i'm most stunned by. if you told me at the start of the election we'd be talking about chuck grassley, who's been in the senate longer than i've been alive. if you told me he's only up three points on a guy named mike franken, the democratic nominee, i'd be surprised. we talk about florida, the swing state, a state that has seen massive amounts of spending. this is one that democrats hoped would come online. val demings, congresswoman with a police background, raised a ton of money. doesn't look like it's happening. down 11. i want to show you two more, i'll do it fast. you probably heard about this race, kari lake, running for governor. this is a tie, but it's moving in the right direction for kari lake. you could have a very prominent election denier as the governor of arizona. this one surprising, new york is not a swing state. a democrat you usually feel good running for offic

her numbers were soft and they thought they would get chris sununu as the candidate. he decided not to run. they wound out getting done bolduck. that race is now -- i don't want to say out of happnd, because y see plus eight, but it is not where it should be and the mitch mcconnell superpac pulled $5.6 million out of the race and put it in a place that we're going to talk about in a minute. pennsylvania. the other one there is colorado. it is a bluish state but not a blue state. bennett is up 6 points over the moderate. so those are two races that i think republicans might come online that are struggling. but things change. on the democratic side, races that democrats thought they might have a better chance in. let's start in florida. donald trump is doing an event down there for marco rubio. val demings is a former police chief but it looks like rubio will by fine. and i certainly didn't think we would talk about at all even as a sleeper race is iowa. chuck grassley has been in the senate for 40 odd years. he's always won with 60 plus% of the vote but there is pollin
