federal reserve governor chris wallace saying he favors a faster taper on jobs gains.e is here with the latest. you're seeing yields come off the lows of the session from this. what did we learn? michael: it is a little interesting because we haven't had a fed governor dissent since 2005, so while her taking a very strong -- so waller taking a very strong position may mean we are seeing some movement on the fed. here's the quote. "for my part, the rapid improvement in the labor market and the deteriorating situation, the deteriorating inflation data have pushed me towards favoring a faster pace of tapering and more rapid removal of accommodation in 2022." you could read the last phrase as may be starting rate increases because if you are still adding to the balance sheet, you are not removing accommodation. so at this point, it is an interesting develop meant that he is speaking out so firmly, but a lot will depend on who is with him on the fed when we get to next year. guy: ed benda chile -- and potentially come of this has the effect of bringing forward the opportuni
