i'm chris wragge. >> and i'm mary calvi. welcome to cbs 2 news this morning we want to start with the weather and possibility of several inches of snow before the day is over. let's get right over to john elliott and the eye on the storm forecast john? >> good morning mary and chris. oh, everybody a little tired maybe up a little late last night? here is the deal. where we'll see those accumulating snows and it's pretty well challenging for parts of suffolk county. the city right now we have cloudy skies and 38 degrees winds out of the east and wind is a menace today gusting to 25 right now. it's an impressive big storm, slowly backing into our area. somewhat reminiscent of friday's storm, a lot of the moisture will miss us to the south but we are going to see that change between now and 6:00 a.m. snow start to roll in mainly south and east to the city. 6-11 more snow will fill in but it's a slow mover as far as the move from east to west, 11-2:00 we'll see tapering off and a few snow showers from 2:00-8:00 and then after to
