my name is chrissy houlahan.was during our freshman orientation in late 2018 that i first learned about the congressional management foundation and the democracy awards, and i knew then that i wanted to win one, partly because i am super competitive and partly because these are the northstar and a proper one for all of us who serve in public. i'm an entrepreneur, engineer and, in early 2019, i knew we needed a strategic plan to make sure i and my team remain focused on delivering for our communities. we set a mission, which we created then and means today, and it is service to our community, commonwealth and country in a way that reflects our values of inclusion, transparency and participatory government. we aspire to be a transformational force for good. we set a purpose to transform representational government to support better our community, commonwealth and country. we have a list of goals we revise annually and one of our first was to win this award, these awards for transparency and kind ability. we set up
