christ gordon with our report. >> i'm kind of apprehensive today getting back on the train. i really am, because of the derailment. >> reporter: shortly after 7:00 p.m. last night, a blue line franconia-bound train leaving the rosalind station derailed. it caused delays as crowded training single-tracked through the station. crews worked all night making repairs. they rerailed the front wheels of the train and removed it. they tested the track and switch equipment. metro is investigating to determine the cause of the derailment. >> everybody is getting together and going over their information that they gathered last night to kind of put it altogether into a comprehensive report as to what exactly went wrong. so that includes all departments across the board at metro. >> metro is calling it a minor derailment because there were no injuries and they were able to quickly off-load 1,000 passengers because only two cars were stuck in the funnel, four remained beside the platform. metro riders here in rosalind say they're still affected by this derailment. >> because of this dera
