ktvu christien kafton joins us now from gilroy. following the details of this tragedy. >> reporter: good morning. we have been out here since 4:30 this morning. this is a community that is still trying to come tigrisens with this murder-suicide. there was a candle light vigil here last night. you can see the candle still it will outside. gilroy police still searching for one more victim. her mother. they found forensic evidence martha gutierrez is critically injured or dead. no one has seen her since wednesday night. on wednesday police were called to this apartment complex after they found lucy luna and her brother abel gutierrez dead in a bathroom. it appears abel first killed his sister and turned the gun on himself. police suspect he may have killed his mother martha gutierrez as well. family members say after abel returned from iraq he was suicidal. this morning we managed to catch up with neighbors that are mourning this morning the loss of a very well liked family. >> good family. good girl. he played with my son. he's nice.

christien kafton just received new information. good morning. >> reporter: good morning.came here to oakland police headquarters looking for more information, more answers about that officer-involved shooting. and in the last 20 minutes we got more details about that officer-involved shooting. we have video of the suspect in this case being taken to the hospital following that shooting. witnesses say they heard shots at about 9:00 last night and saw the officers and suspects. police now tell us that a pair of officers were looking for a suspect in the area of 90th and burch here in oakland. investigators say when they found the suspect, he ran and the officers chased him. at some point they say the suspect produced a shot gun. the suspect was taken to highland hospital here in oakland in stable condition. he's expected to survive. they've recovered the shot gun. a public information officer is look to talk to witnesses. when we have more information we'll bring it to you. we will continue to dig for more information about the officer-involved shooting here in oakland. chr
