christien kafton is near fairfax with an update. what's going on there now?no evacuations, no structures endangered right now. the fire is about a quarter mile up the ridge line right there. we just saw calfire crews arriving on the scene f we swing the camera over here, you can see the marin fire department is leading a morning briefing on exactly -- marin county fire is leading a briefing on exactly what they will be doing today. so far, the size of the fire, about 1 to 2 acres in size. firefighters tell me they will spend the day surrounding this fire, making sure it doesn't spread. now, when the sun came up a little earlier, jacob unger and i, my photographer, were able to hike in about a quarter mile to get this new video. the fire is small, but we can tell you it definitely burned hot. firefighters are telling us this fire was reported after 9:00 last night. they say with the dry conditions we've been experiencing this year so far, they say the conditions are closer to what they would expect to see in august, not january. at this point, there's no obvio
