governor christie has no recollection of such an exchange.e the report was first published, wnbc here in new york has obtained these new pick ctu of governor christie and david wildstein together at that memorial that day. although we cannot hear what they are talking about by looking at these pictures, they do not appear to be interrupted by a steady stream of spectators requesting photographs and handshakes with the governor. it's not like david wildstein was on a receiving line. they hung out. also in this report, the sort of astounding e-mail from governor christie, himself, in which he edits the press statement about david wildstein's resignation. this happened back in december. you can see here, the statement as proposed by governor christie's spokesman, mr. christie writes back personally adding a line, thanking david wildstein for his service to the people of new jersey and the region. governor christie's tried to keep his distance from this story from the beginning, but you can see him wading in to these particular details himself, d

chris christie has been rocked by scandal.lawyers have been hired, a grand jury has been convened and prosecutors are looking into big allegations. but this week, we learned that maybe chris christie isn't alone. another republican governor and potential presidential candidate is facing a grand jury investigation that could affect his ambitions. friday night in texas a little more than a year ago when a motorist phoned in a complaint about a car driving erratically on a state road. the car was swerving in and out of traffic, blew through an intersection, driving on the shoulder. the deputy found the car pulled over in a church parking lot. that's where the district attorney rose mary lynnberg was parked. the top law enforcement official had been driving that car. she had an open vodka bottle and failed the sobriety test. her blood alcohol level was three times the legal limit. so the travis county district attorney spent the night in jail. berating officers, pounding the door of her cell and appearing drunk became something of

same chris christie staffer who ordered traffic problems for the town of ft. lee. the extent to which chris christie staffers also served as an election machine, and the way the chris christie administration governed new jersey as an election machine, that has been one of the startling revelations of the past few weeks. we began to see some of this in the report issued last month by randy mastro, whose law if i were was hired by the governor's office to do an internal review of the governor. yesterday, that law firm released notes from 75 interviews they did for that internal report on the governor's office. those notes have more and in some ways, more unsettling detail that we didn't know before. for example, they interviewed a sandy regional director in the governor's office. this person served as a conduit between mayors and municipalities in the office of the governor, involving issues regarding to hurricane sandy, recovery from hurricane sandy. that staffer, in charge of that issue, recalled, according to these notes, that on issues related to hurricane s
