christina. the crash happened in calistoga. we went there to meet with the victim's friends and coworkers. her mother says she's grateful for the support, but declined to speak on camera. friends and coworkers tell me they're focused on helping the victim and her family, but they also have questions about the crash. these two young women are working at calistoga depot, which serves food and drinks in the heart of the wine country with heaviness in their hearts. their friend and coworker, brenda sarabia, is now unable to work after being hit by a police vehicle. she's suffering from a traumatic brain injury and broken bones. it was really heartbreaking, like seeing her go through it. >> yeah, something you wouldn't wish upon anyone. you really care about. >> on july 29th, friends say brenda was walking from her home to the gym around 7 p.m. chp says the 22 year old was in the crosswalk when a calistoga police sergeant making a left turn in a patrol vehicle struck brenda. i went to the scene just shortly after it happened. >> it'
