joining us now from the west coast christina coleman is here with the latest puzzling new details out of las vegas. christina. >> hi, jason. authorities identified the suspect in this case as 37 year old matthew berger of colorado springs. they say he was a highly decorated army soldier, most recently a green beret who was on leave from germany. they believe he was the lone driver of the tesla cybertruck that you see here, exploding wednesday morning outside of the trump international hotel in las vegas. authorities believe berger shot himself in the head while in the vehicle before the explosion. investigators say they found a lot of evidence in the cybertruck, including a military id, a passport, multiple guns and materials they believe were intended to fuel a larger explosion. seven people suffered minor injuries from the incident. authorities say it could have been worse if the steel sided vehicle didn't absorb a lot of the force from the blast. also, there are some similarities between the terror attack in new orleans and the cybertruck explosion. the suspects in both incidents s
