days. now we'll talk about this traffic alert that christina was alluding to, eastbound 580, counter commuteally but this morning it is the big factor, slowing from the 40th to fairmont, past david street towards 164th, there's a full closure. let me show you alon, our photographer on scene. there is this crash, part of the crash, one of the vehicles involved there and we have a number of chp officers, fire crews, ambulance there. this is a deadly crash that happened earlier this morning. they have closed all eastbound lanes of 580 at 164th. folks are forced off of the freeway. chp will escort you there and you get on to east 14th street which takes you down to 238 as your alternate. we've seen the scene, clearly working on that. we don't know when the lanes will reopen. reroute past the area, take highway 185th, east 14th street to 238 and they get to 580 or 880, whichever is your chosen route. the rest of the bay including westbound 580 and the castro valley moves relatively smoothly. we look at the dublin interchange and moving for a wider view of the south bay as well we see there are no
